“Optimize by Equinox” starts with a comprehensive series of tests conducted by Function Health, which analyzes 100 biomarkers related to heart, liver, kidney, metabolic, immune, and cancer health, as well as nutrient levels. Equinox then follows up with its own fitness assessments like VO2 max, strength, and movement range. To provide a truly customized experience, each member is assigned a core team consisting of a fitness trainer, a nutrition coach, a sleep coach, and a massage therapist. Equinox describes the Optimize program as akin to the support system of a Formula One race car driver or elite athlete. Members receive three 60-minute training sessions per week with a top-level trainer, two half-hour nutritional coaching sessions monthly, two half-hour sessions with a sleep coach each month, and one monthly massage therapy session. All in all, this amounts to 16 hours of coaching and training per month.
